 MISSION
 Our Missions weekend is almost here! If you haven’t already planned on joining us on Saturday, September 11th at 5:00 PM and Sunday morning at 10:00 AM, please clear your calendar now. We are looking forward to 2 days of inspiration, education, worship and fellowship and EVERYONE is welcome, especially children.


Saturday evening at 5:00 PM Denise Sciuto will be sharing with us about Presbyterian Frontier Fellowship, a relatively new outreach program of the Presbyterian denomination, to join us for the service and the pot luck dinner following. Then on Sunday morning Denise will be our worship speaker, and you will have a chance to visit with her over coffee following the service.
To make this the best Missions weekend ever, we need your help! We hope you will make an effort to be at both services, but we also need people to bring food Saturday night, and to help Kathy Anastasi set up for the dinner and clean up afterwards. There is still time to sign up to help if you haven’t already done so. In addition, if 1 or 2 people would help by providing a nursery during the Saturday service for children under 3, that would be very helpful.. Please sign up on the sheet in the narthex or see Kathy or Martha Francis if you can help with the nursery.


God is working around the world in many ways; let us rejoice together as we meet to learn about some of His work!

 

MISSION UPDATE

Bon Ton Community Day

The next Community Day will be Saturday, November 13th.  Presbyterian Women will again be selling the coupon booklets for $5.00 each for shopping that day.  Proceeds will  go to our Roof Fund!

We get to keep all the money plus a portion of the Bon Ton booklet sales.  We understand there will be even more coupons in this booklet.  We'll let you know when we have the booklets and will them be selling them after church.

This will be a great way to help “spruce up” our winter wardrobes and buy Christmas gifts.

 We earned $250.00 for our roof repair fund during our las Community Day. We will receive an additional amount representing our share of booklets sales by the store office.
